Being a SAHM is a sacrifice – you will give up a lot of things.

Besides that, it needs immense patience to be with the children 24/7 with no breaks in between.

As a SAHM, you mostly go out when others are in their office working.

Meaning, less traffic and shorter waiting lines.

You will cherish this point if you stay in a place like Lagos, Nigeria where the traffic is crazy mad.

Being at home helps you work with a daily routine.

Meaning, you can plan and organize activities for both the kids and yourself.

You can give food to them on time, make them study their lessons, and take care of other basic needs.

Being organized helps you to be a happier person. No stress.

Being with your children throughout the day and taking care of their needs gives you immense satisfaction. Honestly, this is better experienced than word of mouth.

When they grow up healthy, it makes you feel proud.

As a SAHM, I derive pleasure in being able to teach my children about God and good moral values.

You end up becoming an ideal role model for your kids because you’re in their lives 24/7.

5. You can focus on children:

Your priority is the well-being of the children.

Being a SAHM allows you to closely track their milestones, take care of them when they are unwell, and ensure their safety at home and outside.

You’re able to pick up their habits and lifestyle and make proper assessment and corrections where necessary.

Now, here are some amazing benefits of being a SAHM to your kids.

1. A parent is always there for the kids:

The fact that a parent is always there for the kids is very vital.

Kids feel important and happy when their parents are present in PTA meetings and other school functions.

When emergencies present themselves, there’s always an available parent; YOU.

Let’s not forget the fact that you’re always available in “za oza room” ?

These little things really make a man happy.
